Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (1)
The voices
Of the minstrels
Vanished,
Their muse
Mangled by the monies
Of the manor lords,
Their silence so loud.

Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (2)
Bombs burst,
Iron birds downed.
Bushes
And waters littered
With victims of hate.
Jihadists jeer.
Sneer
And cheer.

Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (3)
The bull
Bustle to the white mansion
Bursting balloons.
The mare
Decked with diamonds
Gallop
To the white mansion.
The land of Lincoln
Hail the hustle.

Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (4)
The cymbals sound,
The sirens scream.
Twelve moons pass
Since the “change” monologue.
We are still
Marooned in sadness.

Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (5)
The blaze burns
Fuelled
By the thoughtlessness
Of the tingods.
The blaze burns
Blazing
Even into the minds
Of Biafrans unborn.

Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (6)
With dangerous weapons
They draw blood,
Blood of the innocent.
The blood blights
And flows to the bank
Of the river Niger.
The crocodiles
Guzzle the blood
Of seekers of freedom,
The blood of Biafrans.

Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (7)
With boxes of medals
The great boxing man
Bowed
To the great beyond.
Heads
Bow in honour.
Tributes
Rain in torrents.

Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (8)
Oil leaks still
Swim,
Suffocating sea lifes.
Missiles still
Mingle with flames
Of gas flares.
Our delta
Is still doomed.

Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (9)
The ear of the tin god
Aches,
His tongue taciturn.
His eyes
Fixed on foreign lands.
With his nose
He replies us
When we complain.

Fragments Of Poetic Thoughts (10)

The tin god
And his troop
Tag us tainted,
Their praise singers
Spared.
The jails
Would be full.
The jailers
Would be the jailbirds.
